THE MEYERSVILLE GRANGE #188

Grange Logo - 'P of H' stands for Patrons of Husbandry

The Grange is a rural community and fraternal organization with about 4,000 chapters nationwide.  Founded in 1867, its special interest is agriculture, but it also supports local community social functions and donates to charities.

Meyersville Grange #188 was formed in 1925. It is the last Grange left in Morris County and one of only a few in New Jersey.

From Meyersville Circle, drive east on Meyersville Road (toward Chatham).  The Grange is on your left about 1/2 mile from the Circle. It is a wonderful historical building maintained by the Grange activities and dedicated to our community.

We invite you to enjoy our COMMUNITY EVENTS

Soup and Pasta Contest is held the second Friday of each month at 6:30 PM.  (October, November, January, February, March). For specific dates look for confirmation in your local paper or the Echoes-Sentinel newspaper.

Admission is $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children 12 and under.  Admission is free to any entrant who brings a favorite soup or pasta.  It is a "Contest" because each person who attends gets to vote for his or her favorite soups, and the five top soup makers receive prizes.

Home made desserts, coffee, tea, and other refreshments are available. Old Time Bluegrass Music is provided by the Long Hill String Band, for square dancing or just good old time toe tapping listening

Upcoming dates for this fun filled family event are: Oct 12 , Nov 9

A Wunderbar Octoberfest

On September 28, the Meyersville Grange’s Oktoberfest—replete with wiener schnitzel, apple strudel, and Bavarian music—serves up a delicious traditional German repast for just $40.00/person.
