AFFORDABLE HOUSINGAffordable Housing Officer: Richard Sheola, Township Administrator 908-647-8000 ext. 210 The Affordable Housing Officer, oversees the affordable housing in the Township. A file of qualified persons who are seeking affordable housing (either low or moderate) rental units is kept in Town Hall. That list is updated each year. Anyone interested in being included on the list is invited to complete an application available at Town Hall. All the affordable units are currently occupied. At Lounsberry Meadow a waiting list exists for the 42 senior citizen units and the 10 non-elderly handicapped units. In Stirling Manor, there are six (6) moderate, two bedroom units. There are eleven(11) accessory apartments located within the Township. In Gillette, there are eight (8) units in Chestnut Run. All the units in Long Hill Township are rental units.
