| The Junior Firefighter program is open to any resident of the township aged 16-21. The goal of the program is to " provide opportunity for and develop young people who are interested in learning the fields of fire prevention, fire fighting and emergency first aid work ".
This program is sanctioned as a Junior Firemen's Auxiliary under the laws of the State of New Jersey Chapter 1971 Article 1 (NJSA40AP: 14-95). Participants aged 16-17 must have written parental approval and will be restricted from certain hazardous duties according to New Jersey Child Labor Laws.

- Fire Prevention
- Ladders
- Hose Evolution
- Truck Usage and Maintenance
- First Aid
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- Emergency Childbirth
- Defensive Driving
- Salvage Covers
- Fire Engine Pumps
